The Return of the Blog

Despite the routine craziness of my everyday life, my acid reflux abated during the few months that I was out of the blogosphere. I used to think that the rarefied air of the blogosphere was good for me, cathartic, head-clearing. It wasn't. It gave me agita. I was stressed enough by the debacle of the first eight years of the new millennium and then I had to listen to the birthers and the mama-grizzlies. So I'd sit down and write and rant. But I discovered that writing wasn't the panacea I'd hoped for, for me, or for anyone else. The second Obama term has been full of highs and lows so far, some very high, and others very low.  But the end of the Zimmerman trial brought me back. Here we go.

Rolling Stone

Rolling Stone has been known for some controversial covers, the latest of which carries a Jim Morrison-like photo of the surviving Boston bombing suspect. I'm interested in your perspective. See the photo and read the excellent article by Janet Reitman by clicking here:
